Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, Benha University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Researches ' Affairs said that the China Scholarship Council (CSC) has granted the Distinguished Student Award 2019 to the Researcher/ Ibrahim Khalifa, the Lecturer at the Department of Food Industries at the Faculty of Agriculture in Moshtohor. It is worth mentioning that Khalifa had been granted a scholarship to get the PhD from Central China University upon cooperation with Benha University in the duration from 2016 to 2019.

BU maintains Its World Ranking in Times 2021

Prof. Dr. Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President said that the Times Higher Education World University Rankings has announced for the new ranking of 2021 indicating that the University has occupied the rank 801 – 1000 among 527 universities in the world and 21 universities in Egypt at 4th group. Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Researches ' Affairs said that according to that ranking, the University has maintained its world place occupied in 2020 with improvement in its performance at the citation and teaching, as well as the international outlook comparing with the previous year.

Major General Abdel Hamid El Hagan, Qalyoubia Governor and Prof. Dr. Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President has opened today a number of new projects and facilities. They also have inspected and laid the foundation stone of other projects, in addition to the construction of the new specialized hospital within BU participation in the Governorate's national day and its celebration for the 15th anniversary of its establishment.
In this regard, El Hagan said that the relationship between the Governorate and the University is close, and the University is its home of expertise, pointing out that the Governorate is ready to provide all support to BU in order to present its scientific and service message to the people of Qalyoubia Governorate.
He also praised the size of the projects that are being built on the BU's land to serve the people of the Governorate, confirming that the University has expertise and a strong infrastructure that would develop the educational, research and community service process.
In the same context, El Saeed expressed for his happiness and the family of BU in participating the people of Qalyoubia in their celebrations of the Governorate's national day.
He also congratulated Qalyoubia Governor, and the people of the Governorate on the occasion of celebrating the 152nd National Day, confirming that BU with all its capabilities, scholars, experts and researchers, is at the service of Qalyoubia Governorate.

Prof. Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President received Mr. Idris Ahmed Al-Jazwi, the Assistant Cultural and Academic Attaché at the Libyan Embassy in Cairo in the presence of Prof. Nasser El Gizawy, the University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Researches' Affairs and Prof. Ahmed Yousef, the Director of the University International Students Unit.
In this regard, El Saeed said that the meeting discussed the aspects of joint cooperation between the University and the Libyan Embassy and how to support Libyan students at the University in different stages, indicating that the University has many distinguished faculties and programs that include all modern scientific disciplines in various fields as It seeks to develop services provided to the international students.

Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students` Affairs has conducted an inspection tour at the Faculty of Commerce. He has been accompanied by Prof. Mustafa Alabady, the Faculty Dean; Prof. Samy Ghnaam, the Faculty Vice-dean for Education and Students` Affairs; Prof. Sherif Mahdy, the Director of the University Medical Administration; and Me. Mustafa Abu Eldahab, the Faculty General Manager.
During his tour, Samir has been assured the preparations of the Faculty for the new academic year and the equipment of the Medical Administration to receive the first-year students for conducting the medical examination from tomorrow.

Prof. Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President congratulated Prof. Mohamed Mohamedy Ghanem, the Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine; the Faculty Vice-deans; the Faculty members and staff on the occasion of the Renewal of the Faculty's Academic Accreditation.
El Saeed expressed his happiness for the renewal of the Faculty's Academic Accreditation from The National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education “NAQAAE” confirming that Benha University has achieved tangible results in the sector of quality and accreditation at the faculties level.
In this regard, Prof. Mohamed Mohamedy Ghanem thanked the University President, the Vice-Presidents, the University Secretary General, and the University Quality Assurance Center for their role in providing all the requirements for the Faculty to renew its accreditation after it has fulfilled all academic standards related to institutional capacity and educational effectiveness according to the reports of auditors and experts.
It is worth mentioning that the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine was the first faculty at Benha University got the academic accreditation from NAQAAE and also the first faculty got the renewal of accreditation.

Benha University International Relations Office "IRO" organized a webinar under the auspices of Prof. Gamal El Saeed, BU President with the University of Louisville, Kentucky, USA to discuss the ways of cooperation between the two parties.
Prof. Nasser El Gizawy, BU Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Researches' Affairs said that the webinar discussed the opportunities for cooperation between the two universities at the level of post graduate studies programs for academic degrees and professional diplomas in the artificial intelligence as well as dual master's and doctoral programs in the engineering sciences.

Dr. Randa Mustafa, Benha University Vice-president for Community Service and Environment Development Affairs participated on behalf of the University President in "Our Heritage" Exhibition of Traditional Handicrafts, which opened by President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi and organized by the state's Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (MSMEDA), under the patronage of Mrs. Nevine Gamea, the Minister of Trade and Industry.
Benha University's participation came through the work of the students at the Faculty of Applied Arts and within the framework of the University's keenness to promote these ancient arts and encourage their spread as well as increase their production.

Dr. Nevin El-Kabbaj, the Minister of Social Solidarity and Dr. Randa Mustafa, Benha University Vice-president for Community Service and Environment Development Affairs on behalf of the University President have signed a cooperation protocol between the Ministry and the University to establish a unit for social solidarity inside the University.
In this regard, Dr. Randa Mustafa said that the unit seeks, in cooperation with the Sector of Community Service, to provide community services to students, referring that the Ministry will support the presence of a representative from Nasser Social Bank and an official from the Ministry to support small projects for students and follow-up graduates as well as support entrepreneurship.
