Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University confirmed the necessity of developing the University hospitals which serve a large part of ordinary citizens at the level of governorates during his tour to open new departments at the University Ophthalmology Hospital. He also inspected the departments of catheterization and intensive care at the University Hospital in the presence of Prof. Dr. Mohamed El Shafey, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Dr. Ahmed Yousef, the General Manager of the University Hospitals. 

Upon the approval of Benha University Council on the proposal submitted by the higher committee of the universities global ranking to supports researcher of the various faculties, it has been decided to: 
- Cash a reward for researchers according to citations in Google Scholar.
- Cash reward for publishing in the distinguished magazines.
Provided that:
- Benha University name shall be in front of the published research.
- The research shall be uploaded in the University website and Google Scholar.
- The research may not be applied more than once.
The reward form must be sent before Saturday, 31/01/2015. 

Upon the resolution of Benha University Council in its last session, the Scientific Research Fund “SRF” calls for new research projects proposals “3rd phase by 100 thousand pounds per project” for young researchers of faculty members (less than 40 years old), taking into account conditions of applying to the projects.
