Dr. Hussein Al-Maghraby, Vice President of Benha University for Education and Student Affairs, inaugurated the proceedings of the 8th Conference of the Faculty of Medicine. The opening was attended by Dr. Alaa Abdel Halim, former Governor of Qalyubia, Dr. Mostafa El-Kady, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Ahmed El-Touby, Director of the Military Medical Academy, Dr. Yasser Al-Nuaimi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Ras Al Khaimah University, Dr. Yousry El-Said, Conference Secretary, alongside university deans and faculty professors.

"Quality Between Theory and Practice" — The 1st Quality Conference at Benha Faculty of Medicine

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hussein Al-Maghraby, Acting President of Benha University, and chaired by Prof. Dr. Iman El-Bitar, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Medicine in Benha, the Quality Management Unit at the Faculty of Medicine held its 1st Quality Conference titled "Quality Between Theory and Practice," running from Monday, October 1st, to Wednesday, October 3rd.

The conference discussed four key topics: quality theories and implementation methods, the role of students in quality applications across educational stages, requirements for higher education institution accreditation and reaccreditation, and modern medical education methodologies alongside the challenges of implementing the new National Academic Reference Standards (NARS) for medical education, effective as of the current academic year.
