Dr Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President launched initiative for supporting Scientific Researches to Face Corona . El Saeed assured that is among the followed steps by Benha University to limit spread of Corona Virus and to allocate a budget from Scientific Research Fund to support innovative projects which tackle and limit spread of the Corona Virus. On the other hand, Prof.DrNasser El Gizawy, Benha University Vice-President for Post graduate Studies and Scientific Research mentioned that the initiative aims to develop diagnose through developing new methods for laboratory tests to detect infected persons , develop rapid devices and the use of artificial intelligence applications to monitor and track infected and contact persons as well as treatment techniques through the designing or developing new ventilators in an innovative way and low price. DrHasab El Naby Khalil, the executive manager for Scientific Research Fund mentioned that researcher can apply by registering on Scientific Research App at the University website or on the following link ; http://www.bu.edu.eg/portal/index.php?act=332.

Prof.Dr. Randa Mohamed Ahmed Mustafa, Benha University Vice- President for Community Service Affairs inspected workshops of making masks at faculty of Specific Education in presence of Dr Mohamed Ibrahim, the Faculty dean and deputies. The Workshops aims to make 2000 masks daily to be given for all visitors and patients at the University Hospital to reduce Corona Virus Spread. Dr Randa Mustafa praised all workers for their exerted efforts to make masks in order to provide citizens and the surrounding community

Leadership Committee at Benha University held its meeting with applicants to who applied for the following positions; General manager of the University office, General Manager of the University Security, Faculty of Agriculture Secretary, Faculty of Education Secretary, Faculty of Engineering Shoubra Secretary and General Manager of Post graduate and Researches. The Committee was held under presidency of Dr Gamal El Saeed , Benha University President and memebership of Prof.Dr Hussein El Maghraby, the University Vice-president for Education and Students ' Affairs , Dr Ashraf Shams El Din , Faculty of Law , Dr Amr Mustafa , External member from Cairo University , Dr Haytham Hamza , External Member and Dr Hany Mahmoud , External member . The Committee listened to their opinions, plans and checked their performance reports according to the specified criteria and with complete impartiality

Dr Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President has issued several decrees to appoint faculties' deputies and departments' heads. The issued decrees included; DrSamy Mohamed Ahmed Ghonimy as Faculty of Commerce deputy for Education and Students Affairs , Dr Mohamed Ahmed Ibrahim Khalil as Faculty of Commerce deputy for Community Service and Environment Affairs , Dr Ahmed Bayoumy as the manager for E- Learning Center and Dr Mona Mohamed as the manager for Information Technology Unit at the University

DrMohamed Saeed, the Engineering adviser of the University had held a meeting with managers, officials of the Engineering department and supervisors of new projects and constructions at the University to discuss the latest plan and follow up the current works and that was according to instructions of Dr Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President .He also assured on finishing all facilities and constructions according to specifications and schedules

DrGamal El Saeed , Benha University President assured on the necessity of activating international relationship between Benha University and Wuhan University to benefit from their experience at facing Corona Virus and the used medication method to reduce the severity of Corona Virus .He also added that a meeting via video conference system between medical teams which included; 10 professors from Benha University and six professors from Wuhan University had been held to transfer Chinese experiences in confronting Corona virus in terms of diagnostic methods, isolation, preventing the spread of infection within society and how to protect medical teams as well as the adopted methods of treatment in accordance with the Chinese medical protocols, which have proven its effectiveness in the last experiments

Prof.Dr. Gamal EL-Saeed, the university president, the university president announces that the University's council has endorsed the general measures for students' assessment in the second semester in accordance with the outbreak of covid-19 pandemic in to order to keep the students, the faculties' members and the employees safe and sound.

    Prof.Dr. Gamal EL-Saeed, the university president and all Benha university's figures mourns the death of the head of supervision unit in the university Mr. Suliman Ahmed Sulaiman who passed away as a result of tragic accident. May Allah rest his soul!

Prof.Dr. Randa Mustafa, the vice president of environment and community development announces that the University has taken many precautionary measures to contain the outbreak of covid-19 pandemic by beginning to sanitize the main administrative buildings of the University.

The university president announces that AGA organization has decided to grant the University the Iso quality certificate 9001/2015 for three years according to the report of the assessment team who visited the university under the presidency of Eng/ Ahmed Osman.
