Prof.Dr. El-Sayed El-Kady, the university president heaps praise on the enormous development of the periscopes’ surgery and stresses that a great achievement has been done by conducting more than 20 operations by using the periscopes. This statement concurs with the inauguration of the activities of the round no.40 for the periscopes’ surgery that is organized by the periscopes’ unit and the surgery department in the Benha University’s hospitals. The university president is accompanied by prof.Dr. Mahmoud abd EL-Sabour, the den of the faculty of medicine, prof.Dr. Yosry EL-Saied, the general manger of Benha University’s hospitals.

In the frame of providing accredited training services in the field of IT to the stduents, the faculties’ members, the employees and the surrounding community of Benha University, it has been approved to establish two branches of Microsoft IT Academy in the university and the faculty of engineering-Shubra. Prof.Dr. El-Sayed El-Kady, the university president announces that benha university, represented in Dr. Amin Atef, the teaching assistant at the faculty of engineering in Shubra,  participates at the international confernece of campaneis and initiaives in Azeribaijan.  Dr. Amin Atef says that benha university’s initiative meets the apprasial of the attendacne and the arbtration committee while indicating that this project seeks to qualify the fresh graduates in the egyptian universities to meet the demands of the marketplace in addition to bridging the gap between the university education and the marketplace. It has been recommaded that the counteries should adopt such non-profitable initiatives in order to develop education in the first place. 

Benha University issued a statement that the university president, the deputies, the deans, the faculties’ members, the employees and the students condemn the terrorist attack and the faculty of medicine issued another statement in which it denounces the terrorist attack that haunts Egypt. Prof.Dr. Ibrahim Ragah, the faculty’s deputy of community service and environment development stressed that prof.Dr. Mahmoud Abd EL-Sabour, the faculty’s dean and prof.Dr. El-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president ordered that the faculty should be ready to cure the injured.

The university’s council headed by Prof.Dr. El-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president issued a bulletin that the studying fees of credit hours system is decreased by 50% for the sons of the faculties’ members and employees in the university. 

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the University President and Prof. Dr. Gamal Ismail, the University Vice-president for Community Service and Environment Development Affairs; the University has participated in the Week of (You're Beautiful, My Country) Initiative for cleanliness and beauty with coordination of the Executive Bodies in Qalyoubia and Dar Akhbar Elyom. 

 The Board of Benha University Hostels has discussed under the presidency of Prof. Dr. Soliman Mustafa, the University Vice-president for Education and Students’ Affairs the plan of the University Hostels for launching the quality and excellence in the work under the frame of the University strategic plan 2016/2022.

 Dr. Reda Farahat, the Governor of Qalyoubia and Dr. Soliman Mustafa, the Vice-president of Benha University for Education and Students’ Affairs have inspected the Surgery Building at the University Hospital in addition to the Department Reception and Emergency after its renewing by providing the latest therapeutic devices

 Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University; Prof. Dr. Hesham Abu El Enin, the University Vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Researches ' Affairs; a delegation from the Faculty of Agriculture under the presidency of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Iraqy, the Faculty Dean has been participated in the 3rd International Conference of Tempus Programme held in the duration from 12/01/2016 to 15/01/2016 in Hurghada.

Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University has received Mrs. Laura Okzle, the Manager of the Protocol in the Embassy of Germany in Cairo in the presence of Prof. Dr. Gamal Ismail, the University Vice-president for Community Service and Environment Development Affairs; Prof. Dr. Soliman Mustafa, the University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs; Prof. Dr. Hesham Abu El Enin, the University Vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Researches ' Affairs; and Prof. Dr. Ghazy M.R. Assassa, the Advisor to the University President for Information Technology to discuss the scientific and academic cooperation ways with the Embassy in the various fields.
